Students in Group 4 have been hard at work preparing their summative assessment this week for their How We Organise Ourselves unit with the central idea: ‘People interact in different ways through human-made systems that facilitate local and global communication.’ In small groups, they discussed and planned their final projects.
Final Project: Communication
Task brief: Students were asked to create a welcome message for a student new to the school, using one or more of the systems that they’d been learning about. They had the option to present their message on paper, as a video or via PowerPoint.
Furthermore, they were also asked to create and describe a scenario in which their welcome messages would be used!
