JOURNEYS OF MANY KINDS

The last Inquiry Garden update was almost 12 months ago! It goes to show that all good things take time to bloom. And here we are, right in time to enjoy the spring sunshine. This endeavour is a perfect example of what can happen when the IPS community joins forces and takes action together. Students have joined in by planting to further enrich this beautiful space.

Professional Learning

Students are not the only learners at IPS… Teachers are engaged in several shared learning journeys of their own. The Art of Awareness in Early Years, Experience Inquiry in Primary, and Data Wise are all on the agenda this year to enhance the knowledge, skills and understandings of our teachers and leaders.

IB PYP EVALUATION VISIT

One of the longest journeys we have been on is the IB PYP Evaluation. This happens every five years. It is a cycle of evaluation and feedback from the IB, followed by goal-setting and action by the school in response. The process supports us as a school to acknowledge and celebrate our successes and identify opportunities for growth. A rigorous, enlightening and rewarding experience for everyone involved. Yes, we all breathed out after the final meeting! However, this journey is ongoing - the business of goal-setting and action begins now!

GROUP 8 ORIENTATION AT ISH

Some members of the IPS community are approaching the end of their primary school journey. There was much excitement for them as they entered the halls of the International School Hilversum for a small taste of what secondary school life will be like. Let’s not wish the days away too fast, though! There are still numerous experiences to relish in Group 8.
